My 8pm sweet tooth kicked in. I opened the freezer. And there is a lonely left-over pint of sorbet. Sorbet? I had this most amazing angel food cake at a wedding cake shop in La Jolla one time. (It was $10 a piece….yikes) and since then I have been looking for that perfect angel food cake – ‘heavenly’ white and moist, not yellow, dry or rubbery.
