My friend Emily and I had a lunch today and someone at our next table told us to watch ‘Eat, drink, man, woman‘. It sounded good so I searched it on Neflix. And it turned out it was my favorite movie when I was very little back home. It just didn’t click in my head with it’s title in English. Feeling excited as if I found lost earrings behind a couch, I watched it again. Aggghhhhh so sentimental. I remembered every scene and all of sudden, I started missing my hometown, noises of busy streets, smell of street food…..of course, it’s 10pm and I’m having a serious craving for Chinese food….Great.
If you like subtle foreign films as I do, watch this! And go get Chinese food next day. 🙂

This is one of my all-time favorite films! Ang Lee is such a brilliant director and I love all of the cooking scenes. Thanks for this post!
